This translation is provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding one.
1. Acceptance
By signing up, posting content or otherwise using the service, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you disagree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
Reseniu is an editorial directory of hospitality professionals that lets customers leave verified reviews about the service they received. Reviews are tied to the person who served them, not just the venue.
3. User roles
3.1 Server (hospitality professional)
A floor or kitchen professional who creates a public profile with their real name and career history. By signing up they expressly authorise the public use of their name, photo and work history on the Site. They can pause or delete the profile at any time.
3.2 Customer reviewer
Anyone aged 16 or over authenticated with a Google account who leaves reviews about professionals who served them. Reviews are published with the reviewer’s name or initials based on the privacy setting they chose.
3.3 Restaurant owner
A natural or legal person who claims a restaurant through automatic verification via Google Business Profile. They can edit the restaurant page and download materials for their team. They cannot object to the publication of an individual professional profile or its reviews.
4. Review rules
- Only authenticated users (via Google) can post reviews.
- One reviewer can post at most one review of the same professional every 30 days.
- The reviewer can edit or delete their review within 24 hours of publishing it.
- Negative ratings are allowed when truthful, fact-based and free from insults, defamation, discrimination or violations of third-party rights.
- The professional may publicly respond to a review once.
- Both the professional and any logged-in user can report an inappropriate review for moderation review.
5. Prohibited content
It is expressly forbidden to post content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, offensive or discriminatory;
- contains personal data of third parties without consent;
- is spam, hidden advertising or coordinated fake reviews;
- infringes intellectual or industrial property rights;
- impersonates another person;
- contains malware or attempts to compromise the security of the Site.
Reseniu reserves the right to remove any content that breaches these terms without prior notice and to suspend or close accounts of repeat infringers.
6. Pricing
Use of the service is free for professionals, customers and restaurants during the current rollout phase. Any future paid feature will be clearly identified and always optional.
7. Intellectual property of reviews
The reviewer keeps ownership of the reviews they publish. By posting them they grant Reseniu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to reproduce, translate, communicate and distribute them through the Site and its own channels.
8. Limitation of liability
Reseniu acts as a neutral intermediary under article 16 of the Spanish LSSI-CE law. We are not responsible for the content of reviews, which reflect only the opinion of their authors. When we have actual knowledge that content is manifestly unlawful, we remove it diligently.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absolute accuracy of data imported from third parties (Google Places, Google Business Profile).
9. Dispute resolution
If you have a conflict with another user or with a review, write to info@solofoodies.com. We investigate every case in a reasonable timeframe. As a consumer you can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution Platform.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or through a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, the parties submit to the courts of the owner’s registered office, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
